Ranvir Shorey features as the Liftman in this quirky music video, created for the release of his first song, Upar Neeche, in a collaboration with Ankur Tewari, Sidd Coutto and Sony Music Kids. The song was originally written by Ranvir for his son, to explain to him that the world is a strange upside-down place and sometimes we get caught in weird situations which we should take in our stride. Ranvir was helped by his brother-in-law, musician Abhijit Lahiri, in composing the track. The final song was sung and produced by musician Ankur Tewari along with Sidd Coutto. The video is conceptualised and directed by Shaizad Bharucha (ex-MTV), and depicts Ranvir’s character as the elevator operator going about his job, as he is joined by an assortment of outrageous people.
